We invite you to join us for the holy annual feast in celebration of Shiva!
Shivaratri is celebrated 12 times a year, just before the rising of the new moon. It is called the night of consciousness, the night in which we celebrate the light of awareness that shines within.
Meditating on Shivaratri gives us the possibility to purify our consciousness, to become clarified, get sublime perspectives and increase our capacity to be centred in the Heart.
The resonance with Shiva, the Supreme Conscious Principle can be strongly felt on these auspicious moments near the New moon, which naturally increase our capacity to turn our awareness to our inner world and thus awakens lucidity, awareness and aspiration. It is a great moment for new beginnings.
We invite you to join us in this inner celebration of the Light of Consciousness, so that we may spread this light outside.
Maha Shivaratri is the Great Shivaratri – the most important during the 12 Shivaratris of the year. It is called “the night of the outpouring of Divine Grace” in which Shiva grants happiness, peace and immortal bliss, which transcends the ephemeral aspects of manifestation.
Maha Shivaratri is the holy moment where we can most easily feel the Infinite Grace and Love of Shiva, that helps us to transform completely and obtain the ecstatic identification with the Supreme Consciousness – God.
On this day it is recommended to do spiritual practice, eat pure foods, avoid agitating activities, practice prayer, meditation, fasting on water and other things that help us to keep our spirits high and elevated.
You can take part both in the ceremony and/or the mediation which is a world-wide unison meditation.
